Large-Tier Electrical Construction IDIQ

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a contractor to provide large-tier electrical construction services for the replacement of the fire alarm system in Building 225. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing fire alarm system and the installation of a new fire alarm system, including speakers, strobes, and addressable initiating devices. The contractor will be responsible for designing, installing, and testing the new fire alarm system in accordance with the relevant codes and standards, including NFPA 72 and NFPA 70. The contractor will also be required to obtain approvals and permits from the NIST Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) prior to commencing work.
