Professional Municipal Engineering Services (CCNA) - Tenoroc Trail Segment 1 from Lake Crago Drive to State Road 33

The City of Lakeland is seeking qualifications from experienced engineering firms prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation in work type 3.1 (minor highway design) and work type 9.1 (soil exploration) for the Tenoroc Trail Segment 1 project. The project involves constructing a 12 feet wide trail facility within the Tenoroc Public Use Area, from Lake Crago Drive to State Road 33. The scope of services includes engineering and design services for the trail, and the city is looking for a firm with experience in similar projects. The selection criteria include understanding and approach to scope of services, consultant technical qualifications and relevant experience, and project staffing plan. • The project is funded through a state-funded grant administered by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). • The city has received a Type I Categorical Exclusion for the project and prepared 30% plans based on approved environmental documents. • The city is looking for a firm with experience in minor highway design and soil exploration. • The project requires compliance with Florida Statute 287.055, also known as the Consultants' Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA). • The city reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all qualifications, and/or to accept the qualifications that are in the best interest of the city.
