RFI-Competency Modeling for Mission Critical Occupations

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking industry comments and identifying potential contractors to assist in recruiting personnel to fill Mission Critical Occupations (MCOs) and other DOT positions involved in overseeing the safety of automated technologies. The DOT aims to update existing competency models and build new ones to create a comprehensive competency library. The library will enable the Department to assess its workforce, identify competency gaps, and close them. The anticipated period of performance is four years, including a one-year base period and three one-year option periods.
