Check Processing Hardware and Software

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids for the purchase of a check processing solution that includes both hardware and software to automate the endorsement, capture, and management of incoming checks. The solution should facilitate automated check endorsement, high-speed batch scanning of checks, and capture, store, and secure retrieval of check images for audit and operational purposes. The system should enhance efficiency by reducing manual processing and minimizing the risk of errors. • The solution must include a check scanner designed for batch, high-speed processing and a software component that supports configurable endorsement, image capture, secure storage, and user access to view and retrieve check images. • The system must accommodate multiple users and provide basic reporting or audit-trail functionality for check-processing activities. • The solution should include end-user training, go-live support, ongoing software licensing, continuous maintenance and technical support, hardware support and maintenance, and compliance with audit and operational record retention requirements.
