Description
The Employment Development Department (EDD) is seeking a contractor to provide American Sign Language (ASL) and other Sign Languages (SL), Deaf Interpretation, in-person, Video Remote Interpreting (VRI, on-demand and scheduled) services. The contract term is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027. The contractor will be required to provide these services in accordance with the attached specifications.
• The contractor must have experience in providing ASL and other sign language interpretation services.
• The contractor must have the ability to provide in-person and video remote interpreting services.
• The contractor must have a strong understanding of the needs of the Deaf and hard of hearing community.
• The contractor must be able to provide services in a timely and efficient manner.
• The contractor must be able to meet the requirements outlined in the contract.
