Notice of Intent of Synopsize Sole Source Fort Irwin Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system

The US Army intends to award a sole source contract to Motorola Solutions, Inc. for the modernization of the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system at Fort Irwin NTC. The contract aims to upgrade and ensure the interoperability of the Army's public safety communications. The modernization effort will focus on integrating the legacy LMR system into the Army CONUS Enterprise (ACE) LMR architecture. The contract will not include the purchase of new radios but rather the modernization of the current system.
