BioAnalytical Service Contract

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to provide an annual preventative maintenance service agreement for diagnostic equipment at the Dorado Lab in Puerto Rico. The service includes onsite visits from technicians, inspection and replacement of specific parts of the equipment that wear out or are broken with some exceptions, as well as customer service when there are issues with the instruments that result in delays or work stoppages. The equipment includes various laboratory instruments such as plate washers, readers, freezers, and incubators. The contractor must be able to provide service maintenance and/or calibration on the equipment under the warranty terms. • The service is for a list of specific instruments, including Bio Tek, Sorvall, Kingfisher, and Thermo Fisher equipment. • The contractor must have experience and proficiency in using these systems and the test assays must have already been validated for use on this platform. • The contract will be awarded on February 6, 2026. • The intended source for this acquisition is BioAnalytical Instruments, as they are the only company within Puerto Rico capable of providing the required service.
