The Lynwood Unified School District is seeking a qualified contractor to perform complete re‑roofing on five school facilities (Mark Twain, Lindbergh, Roosevelt, Will Rogers elementary schools and Vista High School). The work includes full roof‑tear‑off, deck inspection/repair, installation of a cold‑applied SBS modified bituminous membrane system, associated flashings, insulation, walkways, and a two‑year installer warranty plus a 20‑year manufacturer warranty. The contract is a single‑award public construction bid, with a 53‑day performance period, mandatory self‑performance of at least 40 % of the contract price, and strict compliance with prevailing‑wage, CWA, and safety requirements.
