Description
The Town of Boxborough is seeking a qualified Designer to provide design services for the planning, design, and construction of a new Fire Station. The selected firm will be responsible for providing Phase 2 architectural and engineering design services, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimating, and bidding. The project is expected to commence in June 2026 and be completed by May 2027. The Designer will be required to attend meetings, provide status reports, and coordinate with other consultants.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Providing design services for a new 20,800 square foot Fire Station
• Coordinating with the Fire Station Building Committee and other stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and design guidelines
• Providing graphic supporting materials and presenting at public meetings as needed
• Assisting with the selection of other consultants and coordinating with them as necessary
• Developing a detailed project-specific quality control program
• Providing construction administration and closeout services, if funded.
