Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking a contractor to provide technical overhaul services for the USCGC HEALY's Main Diesel Engines (MDE). The contractor will be required to provide a certified technical representative to oversee the work, which includes inspection, repair, and replacement of engine components. The work will be performed at the Vigor Marine Drydock in Portland, OR. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary parts and materials to complete the work.
• The contractor will be required to develop a plan for collecting and disposing of waste.
• The contractor will be required to perform acceptance testing and provide a final report to the Port Engineer.
• The contractor will be required to restore all systems and clear tags in accordance with the SFLC Standard Specification 0000 - General Requirements.
