Description
The City of Commerce is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive interior and exterior renovations to the historic Cultural Center auditorium. The scope of work includes wood door restoration, window replacement, historic preservation, installation of new auditorium seating, flooring, lighting, and construction of a new entrance opening. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permitting, and coordination necessary to complete the project.
• The contractor must be licensed and insured
• Experience with historic buildings or performing arts facilities is preferred
• The contractor will be required to provide proof of liability and workman’s compensation insurance
• The project will be administered by the City of Commerce through the Finance Director
• The contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the proposal
