The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a six-month contract for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services at the Earth Resources and Observation Science (EROS) Center in Sioux Falls, SD. The current provider, DCT, Inc., is set to expire on March 31, 2026, and a 5-year contract recompete is in progress. However, due to unanticipated circumstances, the recompete is delayed, and a bridge contract is needed to prevent a gap in critical services. The Government has an unusual and compelling urgency that precludes full and open competition, and it intends to make an award to DCT, Inc. unless it is contacted by any vendor who believes they can provide a service that can meet the needs of this requirement.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing O&M services for the EROS Center
• Ensuring continuity of critical services
• Meeting the requirements of the USGS
• Providing a bridge contract until the 5-year recompete is awarded
