Nanostring GeoMx Annual Service Contract

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) is seeking a service contract for the Nanostring GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) instrument. The instrument is used to study tissue heterogeneity and the complexity of microenvironments in the spatial context related to alcohol-induced organ injury and in various fibrosis models. The contract requires a preventive maintenance and service contract with Bruker Spatial Biology, Inc., the sole source for the original parts and technical capabilities to conduct preventive maintenance, service, and repair of the system. The contract will include planned preventive maintenance, emergency on-site service support, replacement parts, software service and updates, and unlimited clinical technical telephone support. The service delivery requirements include that all work must be performed by OEM-authorized technicians trained and certified by Bruker Spatial Biology, and no subcontracting is allowed. • The contract is for a 12-month period. • The contractor must provide a comprehensive set of preventive, corrective, and support services to ensure the instrument remains operational, reliable, and compliant with OEM specifications. • The government responsibilities include cleaning the instrument surfaces, inspecting and cleaning the UV illumination system, checking slide holder and tray for debris or residue, verifying reagent bottles for contamination or expiration, and storing reagents in the recommended conditions. • The contractor must provide a full lifecycle support package combining preventive care, emergency repair, OEM-certified parts, software updates, and technical support to keep the instrument running reliably for research and clinical applications.
