The City of El Cajon is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a one‑year municipal debris‑collection service, with four optional one‑year renewals. The contractor will perform daily patrols of all public right‑of‑way areas, collect and haul trash, debris, abandoned property, and related items to the designated transfer station, respond to resident service requests via the MyCivic app within 48 hours, and be on‑call for after‑hours emergencies. The work must comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and labor regulations, and the contractor must submit detailed daily, weekly, and after‑hours reports, as well as maintain required bonds, insurance, and certifications. • Daily and as‑needed collection of trash, debris, and abandoned property from streets, sidewalks, alleys, medians, parking lots, and public easements throughout El Cajon. • Response to MyCivic service requests within 48 hours and 24/7 after‑hours call‑out capability (response within 1 hour). • Provision of fully loaded rates for weekday teams, weekend teams, and after‑hours call‑outs; submission of monthly invoices and compliance documentation (weight tickets, disposal receipts, photographs).
