Professional Engineering Services for the American Martyrs Stormwater Sump Hydrology and Capacity Study

The City of Manhattan Beach is seeking a consultant to perform professional engineering services for the American Martyrs Stormwater Sump Hydrology and Capacity Study. The consultant will be responsible for evaluating the condition of the sump, making recommendations for drainage improvements and long-term resiliency, creating conceptual diagrams, and providing probable costs and schedules. The final deliverable will be an assessment report outlining the recommendations for any deficiencies unfit per the latest standards, codes, and requirements of all applicable agencies. • The consultant will work closely with City staff to evaluate the condition of the sump and criteria for recommendations. • The consultant will perform tasks such as project management, coordination, and meetings, existing conditions and site analysis, development of concepts, costs and schedules, and final report and recommendations. • The consultant may be utilized for design development following the completion of the report if the City elects to proceed with a recommendation.
