Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a firm-fixed contract for the repair of a Cookson garage door gate on the loading dock entry of the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes assessing and repairing damaged parts, replacing the bottom bar with a safety edge, end tabs and rods, and the bottom part of the curtain, as well as replacing guides rails for the Cookson gate. The contractor must provide a quote for parts and labor and must be an authorized distributor of the brand used. The repair is requested within 30 days of receipt of the award, and all work must be completed on Saturday and/or Sunday between 7:00AM and 4:00PM, excluding federal holidays.
• The contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision to complete the work according to the original manufacturer's instructions/standards.
• All parts must be compatible with Cookson doors.
• The contractor must schedule and coordinate all work with the designated government point of contact.
• The contractor must order all parts needed to complete the repairs within one calendar day.
• All work must conform to National Fire Protection Association Standards for Healthcare Facilities, OSHA standards, and applicable building codes.
