The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a qualified small‑business shipyard to perform a full dry‑dock availability on USCGC HATCHET (WLIC‑75D). The contractor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, and support services required to complete the 70‑day repair window, adhering to the detailed specification (Attachment 2) and using the corrected labor‑hour estimate of 750 hours. All work must be performed at a yard accessible from Galveston, TX, meeting depth and clearance requirements, and the contractor must provide required certifications, safety plans, and insurance.
• Perform comprehensive hull, structural, mechanical, electrical, and auxiliary system repairs as outlined in 88 work items.
• Provide lay‑day and composite labor‑hour rates (maximum rates) and submit a quotation valid for 120 days.
• Comply with extensive FAR, security, environmental, and safety clauses, and submit required documentation (certifications, insurance, subcontractor list, etc.) by the November 9 2026 deadline.
