Description

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes from a vendor procure a survey panel with a guaranteed response rate of New York State residents to an online survey for 3 respondent quantities – 2000, 3500 or 5000 meeting a guaranteed sample demographic populace. OPRHP is requesting quotes to include the following:1. Survey Audience – task 1 is to provide a survey panel/audience of either 2000, 3500 or 5000 respondents (prices provided for each quantity), based on sample populace desired. The sample populace desired is as follows:• people over the age of 18, meeting a defined percentage by gender (male/female) per each NYS county (tab 1)• race/ethnicity, meeting a defined percentage per each NYS county (tab 2) OR if meeting the race/ethnicity metric is not feasible at the county level, the REDC (tab 3) or statewide level (tab 4) Percentages have been provided for each demographic factor. See Attachment 1. 2. Survey deployment – task 2 is to deploy the survey as provided by NYS OPRHP via Alchemer link to guaranteed respondents as defined in task 1. Vendor will deploy the survey and monitor responses during deployment period. Deployment time period will be one week after finalized instrument is provided and tested. Survey will remain open until response quota is achieved. Response quota time period should be no longer than 4 weeks. Testing of the survey instrument with the survey panel will occur prior to full deployment, with a limited number of the guaranteed respondents, to ensure the survey is performing as expected. 3. Quality control - Vendor will provide quality control on the responses and provide a list of potential invalid data for removal. Vendor will provide quality control measures to ensure response quality and completeness. An acceptable response must be complete, with all required fields populated. Any straight lining or profane responses will not be accepted or count towards quota. Best efforts must be made to ensure that bots are not completing the survey. *Please be advised OPRHP is requesting that Vendors propose pricing for the three options. If you are unable to provide pricing for all three options, you may submit pricing for one or more. All quotes will be evaluated independently, and one award will be made based on Lowest Price once OPRHP determines which option best suits our needs. Budget estimate

$30,000 – $80,000

No contract value is disclosed. Typical market‑research panel costs in New York range from $15‑$35 per respondent for a fully qualified demographic sample. For 2,000 respondents this suggests roughly $30,000; for 5,000 respondents up to $80,000 when accounting for higher‑quality targeting and quality‑control services. Therefore a reasonable estimate for the award is between $30 K and $80 K, depending on the chosen respondent tier and any additional data‑validation work.
