Description
The U.S. Army Caisson Detachment is seeking instruction for a Basic Riding Course (BHC) to prepare Soldiers to ride horses for ceremonies and work in Arlington National Cemetery. The course will cover basic horsemanship, rider instruction, and riding refreshing. The course will be 12 weeks long and will include both classroom and hands-on training. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment and facilities.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Instruction in basic horsemanship and horse care
• Training in riding techniques, including trotting, cantering, and jumping
