Description
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation is seeking proposals for marine logistics services to support the operations of its remote island state parks. The selected contractor will be required to provide equipment and material transportation, trucking services, diving services, and marine construction and maintenance. The contract period will be from June 29th, 2026, to July 31st, 2026.
Key services to be provided include:
* Transporting up to a 20-ton rolling load to and from remote parks
* Towing vessels up to 47 tons
* Providing trucking services for debris removal and firewood/aggregate deliveries
* Providing diving services, including diving water lines, emergency diving, and mooring and channel inspections
* Providing marine construction and maintenance, including replacement of moorings, in-service dock repair, marine welding, and maintenance and replacement of navigation aids
