Liquid Oxygen Chemical System

The City of Poughkeepsie is seeking bids for a liquid oxygen chemical system for its Joint Water Treatment Facility. The system will be used to generate ozone gas for the treatment process. The selected contractor will be responsible for designing, placing, and securing the LOX tank and associated components, making all connections to the LOX tank, and proving, installing, and making all connections to the LOX control panel. The contract period will be for five consecutive years, pending budget allocation each year. • The contractor must provide a complete liquid oxygen system and supply of liquid oxygen. • The contractor must design and size the leased LOX storage and delivery system. • The contractor must provide temporary LOX supply during equipment installation. • The contractor must perform startup and operational testing services of the LOX delivery system. • The contractor must provide lease of a vertical cryogenic storage vessel for LOX, ambient vaporizers, electric trim heater, local oxygen system control panel, low temperature shutoff assembly, and all interconnecting piping, valves, supports, local control panel with instrumentation and control equipment.
