Lean-to Covered Work Pavilion

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to provide construction services to build a lean-to pavilion that will attach to an existing building at the NOAA Tides and Currents Facility in Gulf Breeze, Florida. The contractor will be responsible for pouring concrete and installing the pavilion, and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror. • The pavilion will be used as a covered exterior work area and truck loading shelter. • The contractor must have experience constructing commercial, industrial, or government steel canopy, loading shelter, or similar structures in coastal and hurricane-prone environments. • The contractor must possess all licenses required by federal, state, and local authorities. • The contract has a period of performance of 180 days, and the contractor must complete the work as soon as possible within this timeframe. • The contractor must provide a statement demonstrating their capability to perform the required scope of work, including relevant experience and understanding of the requirement. • The contractor must also provide past performance information, which will be evaluated to determine successful performance of contract requirements, quality and timeliness of delivery of goods and services, cost management, communications between contracting parties, proactive management, and customer satisfaction.
