Sanitary Sewer Root Control

The City of Columbia is seeking a qualified contractor to provide sanitary sewer root control services. The contractor will be responsible for identifying, controlling, removing, and preventing root intrusion into the City's sanitary sewer lines. The contractor must have experience with similar projects and must be able to provide proof of financial responsibility. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The project duration is 183 days, and the contractor must be able to complete the work within this timeframe. Some key aspects of the job include: * Providing all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to complete the project * Performing work according to label instructions and best practices * Generating foam through the use of air injection equipment * Pumping foam into the sewer under pressure * Providing a guarantee of three years from the date of treatment on each line treated * Submitting payment applications and supporting documentation to the City * Attending monthly project status meetings and providing updates on work progress * Submitting a final project report and final pay application upon completion of the project
