509 SFS Range Cleaning

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide range cleaning services for the 509 SFS/CATM 25-meter indoor range at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. The contractor will be responsible for removing copper dust and all debris (hazardous and nonhazardous) from the range floor, firing platform, backstop plates, and behind the bullet trap. The contractor must comply with OSHA, EPA, and state of Missouri regulations and provide proper personal protective equipment, site security, clean-up, decontamination procedures, medical monitoring, and disposition of waste. The key aspects of this opportunity include: • Removing copper dust and debris from the range floor, firing platform, backstop plates, and behind the bullet trap • Complying with OSHA, EPA, and state of Missouri regulations • Providing proper personal protective equipment, site security, clean-up, decontamination procedures, medical monitoring, and disposition of waste • Replacing the DCU filters and skinny barrels as needed • Disposing of waste in accordance with EPA and MO DNR requirements
