Request for Qualifications Construction Management Services Transload Facility

The Little Rock Port Authority is seeking a construction management firm to oversee the development of a rail-to-truck transload facility, two 30,000 sf warehouses, and necessary site improvements. The project includes NEPA studies, engineering design services, construction of 5300 feet of track, and installation of a fall arrest system. The selected firm will be responsible for pre-construction and construction activities, including design review, scheduling, cost control, and construction administration. The project is funded in part by the Federal Railroad Administration and has a total budget of $14,375,000. • The project requires a construction management team with experience in similar projects and the ability to meet the project's goals and objectives. • The team must be familiar with Federal, State, and Local policies and procedures pertaining to the project. • The project has a 42-month schedule, and the selected team will be required to work with the design engineer and Little Rock Port Authority staff to produce a quality product. • The team must demonstrate their qualifications, experience, and credentials, and present a proposed project action plan. • The project includes a variety of tasks, such as collaboration with the design engineer, development of a detailed construction schedule, cost control, and value engineering.
