Description
The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is seeking a Senior Application Architect to lead the design and development of modern, scalable, and secure enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of hands-on development expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to translate business strategy into innovative technology solutions. The position will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure/security partners to ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise systems aligned with EOHLC standards and long-term modernization goals.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack application design and development
• Advanced JavaScript development for validation, dynamic UI interactions, and real-time user experiences
• Experience developing with modern frontend and client-side technologies
• Robust backend engineering experience using Python, Java, Spring Boot, NodeJs
• Strong experience in developing snowflake data solutions
• Expert knowledge of Oracle APEX 24.1+ with deep experience customizing Universal Theme and Redwood components
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS
• Solid understanding of systems architecture, security controls, and integration frameworks
