Maternal Initiative Collaborative

The Maternal Initiative Collaborative is a project aimed at preventing maternal morbidity and mortality in Missouri. The goal is to increase rural provider access to education and training to support safe birth outcomes. The project will also increase support of rural hospitals to access education and training opportunities at the state and regional levels. The key objectives of the project include increasing the capacity of rural maternal-infant health stakeholders to innovate and create solutions to regionally identified gaps in care and outcomes.
