Description
The Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide a new Programmable Logic Controller (“PLC”) Control System, along with new PLC remote equipment, an upgrade of the existing intercom system, video surveillance system, and a reconfiguration of the computer screen layout in the front main control area, and control stations in the Housing Dayrooms. Additional cameras will need to be added to interior locations to provide enhanced visual surveillance and minimize blind spots.
The key requirements of the project include:
• Providing a new Programmable Logic Controller (“PLC”) Control System
• Upgrading the existing intercom system, video surveillance system, and computer screen layout
• Adding additional cameras to interior locations
• Providing detailed instructions for submitting a compliant response
The County invites all interested and qualified firms who meet the requirements of the RFP to submit a proposal.
