Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking bids for Hot Mix Cold Lay (HMCL) for Districts 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The contract period is from the date of award to March 31, 2031. The contractor will be responsible for providing HMCL that meets the specifications and requirements outlined in the bid document. The bid package includes a cost sheet and requires the contractor to submit a signed certification regarding immigration reform and control, as well as a certification of company not currently engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel.
• The contractor must comply with all federal and state laws relating to immigration and reform.
• The contractor must provide a method of obtaining a dried aggregate sample for testing before the asphalt material is added.
• The contractor must comply with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination and the Kansas Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
• The contractor must include the provisions of this contract in every subcontract or purchase order.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws and regulations.
