Description
The Columbia County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of the Horizon South - Chamblin Connector. The project involves furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of the connector. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held virtually via WebEx on February 4, 2026. Bids will be received electronically until February 26, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond.
• The project includes construction of the Horizon South - Chamblin Connector
• A bid bond is required, equal to at least 10% of the total bid amount
• Performance and payment bonds are also required, each equal to 100% of the contract amount
• Plans and documents are available for viewing and downloading at no charge via the county's website
