93% Sulfuric Acid

The El Paso Water Public Service Board is seeking proposals for the supply of 93% Sulfuric Acid for use in drinking water treatment. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering the product to various EPWater locations, with orders placed on an as-needed basis, typically twice per month. The vendor must provide a comprehensive summary of their experience, business profile, and ability to fulfill the scope of work. The evaluation criteria include experience, cost, and responsibility and reliability. • The supplier shall provide a Certificate of Analysis that conforms to all requirements contained in these Conditions and the specifications. • The supplier shall comply with the applicable requirements of the most recent versions of the ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals—Health Effects. • The supplier shall provide evidence of sufficient experience in delivering Sulfuric Acid, 93%. • The supplier shall submit a list of at least three similar-sized utilities for which they have supplied comparable quantities of product capacity within the last five years.
