Anticipated Sole Source to Carahsoft Technologies

The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Carahsoft Technology Corp for VMWare software maintenance support. The contract will be for a base year with four option years, and the total cost is estimated to be less than $10M. The requirement is for VMWare Cloud Foundation software for the 411 FLTS office on Edwards Air Force Base. The contract must include global 24/7 support for Severity 1 issues, fast response times for critical issues, unlimited number of support requests, remote support, online access to documentation and technical resources, and access to all software patches/updates/upgrades issued during the contract term. * The contract will be awarded as a sole source to Carahsoft Technology Corp. * The contract term will be for a base year with four option years. * The total cost is estimated to be less than $10M. * The requirement is for VMWare Cloud Foundation software. * The contract must include global 24/7 support for Severity 1 issues and other specified support services.
