Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from qualified businesses to determine the availability of Agiliti brand or equal patient bed rentals for VA Medical Centers in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. The contractor will be required to provide rental equipment, including inpatient beds, mattresses, and accessories, as well as delivery, set-up, maintenance, and pick-up services. The equipment must meet specific requirements, including pressure redistribution-type surfaces, adjustable headrests, and safety features such as alarms and main power shut-off switches.
• The contractor must be able to accommodate patients with weights up to 1000 pounds.
• The contractor must provide equipment that can prevent and treat pressure ulcers.
• The contractor must be able to deliver and set up equipment at the VA Medical Centers.
• The contractor must provide maintenance and repair services for the equipment.
• The contractor must be able to pick up equipment when it is no longer needed.
