Mohave Valley Landfill Septage Ponds Construction

The County of Mohave is seeking bids for the construction of septage evaporation ponds at the Mohave Valley Landfill. The project includes excavation and earthworks to contour a two-pond system, lining the ponds with multiple layers of geosynthetics, and covering the liner system with screened protective soil. The project has a footprint of approximately 4.5 acres, with each pond having a footprint of approximately 2.25 acres. • The project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, utilities, services, and facilities necessary to perform the work. • The contractor must complete the work within 270 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. • The project includes a pre-bid meeting, which is not mandatory but is encouraged for clarification of the solicitation. • The contractor must provide a bid bond or bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and worker's compensation. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
