The City of San Diego is seeking a qualified contractor to provide hot‑mix and cold‑mix asphalt on an as‑needed basis for its public works projects. The contractor must operate a central mixing plant (or use an approved satellite facility), load the mix into City‑provided trucks, and deliver the product to designated stockpile sites. Cold‑mix asphalt will be delivered using the contractor’s own trucks. The contract is for up to five years, with the City retaining the right to extend month‑to‑month after the initial term.
