UXG Agile Signal Generator System

The U.S. Department of Navy, Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Contracting Division is seeking to procure a Keysight Technologies, Inc. (Keysight) UXG Agile Signal Generator system. The system will be used to generate complex signal environments in support of communications, radar, electronic warfare (EW), and antenna testing applications. The required equipment includes a UXG Agile Signal Generator system with various options and licenses. The estimated cost of the equipment is not specified, but it is mentioned that the Government has negotiated a $120,000 cost-savings discount with Keysight. The procurement will be done on a brand name basis using other than full and open competition. The key features of the UXG Agile Signal Generator system include: • Frequency range of 10 MHz to 40 GHz • 0.001 Hz frequency resolution • AM, FM, phase modulation, LF output, and narrowband chirp license • Wideband chirp and pulse modulation options • 180ns PDW update rate or 370ns latency • Enhanced phase noise and mechanical + solid state attenuator assembly • 10 Gigabit Ethernet I/O interface with 14 trigger ports • Signal Studio for MESG, multiple emitters from one or more UXGs, node-locked perpetual license
