TREE WATERING & MAINTENANCE 2026

The City of Charlottesville is requesting quotes from qualified vendors to water and maintain specified trees installed in street medians, parks, and school locations across the City. The contractor will be responsible for watering, site inspections, mulching, and staking of trees from March 15, 2026, to October 31, 2026. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentals necessary to maintain 373 trees. • The contractor will perform a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 20 watering events. • Each watering event should average between 15-20 gallons of water per tree. • The contractor shall secure and purchase water throughout the length of the contract. • Site inspections shall occur at the same time as watering events. • Mulching will be performed as needed during watering events and site inspections. • Staking maintenance and repairs will be provided as needed during watering events and site inspections.
