Personal Protective Equipment - Respiratory Protection

The County of San Mateo is seeking bids for the procurement and delivery of new Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment for the Sheriff's Office. The existing SCBA units have expired and are no longer serviceable or suitable for operational use. The successful bidder shall provide new, unused SCBA units and required components in accordance with the specifications outlined in this solicitation. • The contract will be for the delivery of SCBA equipment, including 3M Scott X321 NFPA 1986 2023 Edition SCBA 5500psi Snap Change Standard Harness Ez Flo Regulator QD Hose Rectus Dual EBSS No Spare Harness No Case, Scott 5500psig Snap Change 45Min Cylinder and Valve Assemblies, and other related components. • The bidder must deliver all material for the requesting department within 14 days after receiving purchase order. • The County will pay the quoted prices as full consideration for the Contractor's full, complete, and faithful performance of the Contractor's obligations under the contract. • The contract will include provisions for payment, shipping, delivery, subcontractor reimbursement, insurance, and indemnification.
