Civic Center Loop Phase II – Architectural & Engineering Design Services

The City of Wixom is seeking proposals from qualified landscape and structural architecture and civil engineering firms to provide design services for Phase II of the Civic Center Loop, an expansion and activation project intended to enhance this civic asset as a walkable, multi-generational destination. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing the scope of work outlined in the RFP, including conducting site analysis, stakeholder engagement, and designing activation features for Phase I and II of the Loop, as well as renovating the existing barn. The City has budgeted approximately $400,000 for construction of Phase II of the loop and $300,000 for the barn renovation. • The project involves designing a vibrant, multi-functional public space that supports civic engagement, recreation, placemaking, and inclusive design. • The City is looking for a consultant who can provide a comprehensive design plan that meets the City's goals and objectives. • The consultant will be required to work with a steering committee to develop a plan and budget for the project. • The City is open to joint proposals from firms that partner with other firms to submit a proposal. • The selected consultant will be required to provide a certificate of insurance showing coverage for liability, workers' compensation, and automobile insurance.
