B026-62 Green Road Drainage

The City of Meriden is seeking a contractor to replace the existing 36” storm pipe from Green Road to its terminus point, approximately 310 ft to the south. The project includes removing the existing corrugated metal storm pipe and replacing it with a new HDPE storm pipe. The work will be performed on private properties, but within an existing City easement. The project is expected to commence in the summer of 2026 and will require the contractor to prepare a construction schedule and present it at the pre-construction meeting. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining and protecting traffic during the construction period. • The project includes removing and replacing a section of the existing stockade fence • The contractor will be required to provide sediment control systems at catch basins • The contractor will be responsible for turf establishment and lawn care • The contractor will be required to provide mobilization and project closeout services • The contractor will be required to provide construction staking services
