Description
The City of Sandy Springs is seeking bids for the construction of a sidewalk on the west side of Lake Forrest Drive. The project includes the installation of approximately 3,300 linear feet of 6-foot sidewalk with a 2-foot landscape strip, curb, and gutter. The project will be funded through the Sandy Springs TSPLOST program. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to complete the project.
• The project will be constructed under City of Sandy Springs Public Works Permit No. CITY-26-12 and an NPDES GAR100002 permit.
• The contractor must perform at least 51% of the work and must be a pre-qualified Prime Contractor listed by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
• The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required permits and providing appropriate notifications to the City prior to the commencement of work.
• The contractor will be required to maintain continuous coordination with all utility companies throughout the process to minimize delays and avoid conflicts between utility work and subsequent construction activities.
• The project will have a contract duration of 300 calendar days.
