Description
The Cobb County Department of Transportation is seeking a design-build team to widen and reconfigure the eastbound approach to the intersection of Johnson Ferry Road and Shallowford Road. The project includes adding a dedicated left-turn lane, a single eastbound through lane, and a dedicated right-turn lane. The westbound approach will be reconfigured to provide dual left-turn lanes and dual westbound through lanes. The project also involves adding raised medians for access control at commercial driveways and replacing existing traffic signal and pedestrian signal control components.
