Description
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella (FLCSI) is seeking to procure commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) proprietary BioFire diagnostic assay kits and refurbished systems. The contract will support the Naval Medical Research Unit Europe, Africa, Central (NAMRU EURAFCENT) in its execution of the Department of War (DoW) Global Emerging Infections Surveillance (GEIS) program and active infectious disease surveillance and research operations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The required items include various BioFire assay kits and refurbished FilmArray 2.0 systems.
• The contract requires the procurement of 41 BioFire kits, including BioFire Global Fever Special Pathogens Panel IVD, Blood Culture Identification Panel 2 IVD, FilmArray NGDS Sentinel Panel v3.0, Food & Water Panel, Gastrointestinal Panel IVD, Meningitis/Encephalitis Panel IVD, Respiratory Panel 2.1 IVD, and FilmArray 2.0 (Refurbished) Complete Configured System with Laptop and Hard Case.
• The delivery location is DLA Distribution Sigonella, Italy, and delivery is expected within fifteen days from the date of order.
• The contract is being conducted under the authority of FAR Part 12, and this is a notice of intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Bio Fire Defense, LLC.
