6530--Steam Sterilizer and Lab Glassware Washer

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a steam sterilizer and lab glassware washer for a BioSafety Level II VMU Facility. The equipment must have specific physical and functional characteristics, including a one-door chamber, multiple programmable cycles, and a colored touchscreen display. The equipment must also come already assembled, require no building modifications or utility changes, and include at least a one-year warranty. The contractor must service the equipment in the event of a malfunction no later than 48 hours after the initial call. • The equipment must be suitable for a BioSafety Level II VMU Facility. • The internal chamber dimension should be no less than 20” x 20” x 38”. • The external dimensions should not exceed 76”H x 43”W x 49”D. • The equipment must have multiple programmable cycles, including gravity, liquid, pre-vacuum, and isothermal cycles. • The equipment must have various temperatures leading up to 285F. • The equipment must have a colored touchscreen display and printing capabilities.
