J-442-CxA Translational Research Building at Augusta University.

The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) is seeking firms to provide building commissioning services for the Translational Research Building at Augusta University. The project involves a 6-story, 145,504 gross square foot facility with various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are properly installed, tested, and functional. The commissioning services will be divided into two phases, with the first phase focusing on the development of the Owner's Project Requirements document and the review of the Design Professional's Basis of Design information. The second phase will involve the commissioning of the systems during the construction and occupancy phases. The firm must have experience with similar projects and must meet the minimum qualifications outlined in the RFQ. • The project requires the firm to have current Commercial General Liability Insurance coverage and professional liability coverage. • The firm must have experience with commissioning services for facilities of similar size and complexity. • The firm must be able to provide a team with the necessary expertise and qualifications to perform the commissioning services. • The firm must be familiar with the Georgia Peach certification and commissioning requirements. • The firm must be able to use the Owner's project management program, E-Builder, for contract administration processes.
