ITB 4587 - Plymouth Pool Starting Blocks

The City of Midland is seeking a contractor to provide and install six new Paragon Track-Start side mount platforms for Plymouth Pool. The contract includes all costs associated with procurement, permits, delivery, and installation of the starting blocks, complete with sand nonslip finish, 24” x 32” top starting platform, and side mount platform step, adjustable foot chocks, lane numbers, and safety covers. The City is also requesting pricing for optional accessories, including a side grip kit, backstroke start system, powder-coated frames, custom color tops and steps, and custom logo tops. • The starting blocks must be compatible with the existing Paragon Aquatics Quickset Dual Wedge Anchor System. • The contractor must provide a performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible vendor that meets the functional requirements and needs expressed by the specifications. • The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to award the contract in the best interests of the City of Midland.
