Corporate Disclosures

The California Air Resources Board seeks a qualified nonprofit to manage the collection, standardization, public dissemination, and analysis of corporate greenhouse‑gas (GHG) emissions disclosures required by Health & Safety Code §§ 38532 and 38533. The contractor will operate a public‑facing data platform, support reporting entities, produce biennial climate‑related financial risk reports, and collaborate with academic partners on synthesis reports (the latter funded separately). The effort spans 27 months with a maximum budget of $2 M, and the award will be announced mid‑April 2026. • Receive, verify, and standardize Scope 1‑3 GHG data from California corporations. • Publish individual disclosures and aggregated visualizations within 90 days of receipt. • Develop and deliver a biennial climate‑related financial risk report for public release. • Coordinate with university/national‑lab teams for a synthesis report (their costs excluded from the $2 M ceiling). • Provide ongoing stakeholder convenings, monitoring of federal climate‑risk regulations, and quarterly progress reporting.
