The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting proposals from consulting firms interested in the preparation of the construction plans and specifications for the Yellowstone River-Columbus project. The project involves replacing the existing bridge on State Primary Route 78 from RP 45.0 to 46.5 spanning the Yellowstone River. The selected consultant will be required to provide all services necessary for the project, including bridge design, roadway design, geotechnical investigation, survey, environmental evaluation, and permitting. • The project is located in Stillwater County on P-78 (MT-78) directly south of Columbus from reference point 45.0 to 46.5. • The project schedule will be developed and negotiated prior to executing the contract agreement. • The consultant must demonstrate a robust internal quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) process that meets or exceeds industry standards for engineering deliverables. • The consultant must provide proof of Montana professional engineering licensure. • The consultant must submit one electronic version of the proposal in Adobe PDF format. • The proposal must contain the information listed in the RFP, including team qualifications, project approach, and record of past performance.
