Structured Cabling and Installation Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals from qualified partners to provide comprehensive cabling services throughout all departments in both existing and new facilities on an as-needed basis. The services will include copper, fiber, and other cable types, with oversight and standard compliance validation performed by the Information Services Department technical staff. The County intends to obtain a per-foot cost for these services, including all required labor and materials. The proposal should include a detailed response to the minimum qualifications and requirements, including experience, organizational capacity, and references. • The proposer must have a minimum of three years' experience implementing the proposed solution(s) and performing similar services. • The proposer must have a minimum of three successful implementations for government agencies of similar size and requirements within the last five years. • The proposer must provide evidence of registration in the Department of Industrial Relations and insurance requirements. • The proposer must provide evidence of registration, active, and in good standing with SAM.gov and not barred from public contracting by any federal or state authority. • The proposer must provide at least three references from successfully completed projects of similar nature.
