DESIGN-BUILD OF THE EASTSIDE COMMUNITY PARK PROJECT

The City of Tamarac is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the design-build of the Eastside Community Park Project. The project site consists of approximately 2.35 acres and will include a multi-story community center, walking path, pavilion, tennis court, basketball court, playground, observation deck, fishing pier, and other associated components. The scope of services includes preparation of a detailed cost estimate, design renderings, construction documents, and completion of all construction activities necessary to deliver the project. Key elements of the project include: • A 10,000 SF community center • A 10-foot-wide walking path with benches • A 20-foot pavilion • Tennis and basketball courts • Covered playground with associated play equipment • Observation deck and fishing pier • Video surveillance, security system, and IT components The project requires a detailed cost estimate, design plans, and construction schedule, as well as coordination of permitting and completion of all construction activities.
